I am 24 years old, and I'm currently a Network Engineer at Frontier Cooperative in Lincoln, NE. I graduated from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE with an AAS in Cisco Networking & Technicial Services Support during the spring of 2019.
My knowledge of technology lies heavily in VMware (VCP-DCV Certified), with Windows Server, Fortigate, Cisco Networking being focus points, and a novice amount of Linux and Azure Administration.
My current project is managing Docker containers using Portainer. I needed a quick and easy way to dive in and understand Docker, and Portainer was there to help!
I don't really have anyone to gloat to about what I do at home to further my education in the industry, so I have set up over 40 VMs and Containers (see HomeLab below) for various real world situations, testing, and sometimes just for fun.
I have lots of home projects, some including VMware, Exchange, Docker, Veeam, game servers, monitoring solutions, and many many more.
My homelab holds the majority of what I do, while being connected to 2 other sites for offsite backups/redundant applications. The rack includes from top to bottom:
